Excessive SE (2-8)
Seen that some people are still unable to play this map in TSR 1.21 so here it is. Plus this will give those not playing TSR a chance to check it out.
You'll find 3 areas gaurded by deserters from both sides, a couple capturable war factories and tech centers as well as a couple of hidden items. Alot of tiberium on the map so money isn't a problem.
If you had played the original, you'll see that the SE version has 2 additional tunnels, 5 vehicles in motion, night to day transition, multiple terrain tweaks, the lighting tweaked & more detail.
This is a tad bit excessive in size, bridges & other things.
That's how it got it's name.
The sceenshot here is of the original, so some of terrain tweaks not visible in it.
The map is in .map format and have included it's own .pkt file.
This wouldn't be what it is without the input from the gang over at TumSun. Thanks guys!
Well more like the biggest and most complecated.. the problem is that it's soo friggin' huge you can't add detail as it would slow the game down immensely. Also the terrain could be a little more realistic but good ol' Tude knows that It's his first map btw. (or at least the first one he released) QUICK_EDIT
And technically, I guess you could say it's my second DvD. But first one was over year ago and didnt get past about an hour's worth of work before I gave up. Decided to try again. QUICK_EDIT
Not sure if I'll be entering the comp DvD. Got alot going on currently. Guess it'll depend on the time frame.
The map I have been working on is on verge of finding the recycle bin. Doubt anyone will be able to run it until they come out with a P10 or AMD 10000. I REALLY went overboard. It's not even half done w/o any of the units patrolling & it's bogging down my amd 2200 w/512mb ram. QUICK_EDIT

Why would you want to resize the existing maps? Why don't you create a new empty map and design it then post it up here and ask for feedbacks? That's how I improve on map designing. _________________ Main Singleplayer Mission Campaign Maker for TS - Reform

Thank you very much for uploading the map again, LKO. Some attachments posted early in 2004 were lost in one of the server moves. There are probably a lot of material that were never recovered since them. Any help on recovering them is appreciated. QUICK_EDIT
