Hello guys

Now here comes my "Perfect RA" Mod for Project Perfect Mod Very Happy

since i cant find an add new topic button in the "Released Forum"
I will post my topic about my new Mod here.

Perfect RA is my selfmade Mod for Red Alert 1 v3.03 english with Aftermath.

My Mod aims to balance, improve, expand Red Alert 1 and to imitate Retaliation for the Playstation.

I have worked nearly 3 Years on this mod but if you despite find some bugs you can report them here.
Furthermore you can post comments and suggestions here unless i get a special place for my Mod in the "Released Forum"

I had to hurry myself because of the 10th PPM Anniversary contest and work through the night to finish it in time Smile
If you download the Mod you will find more Info in the Read Me in the Mod folder Smile
And for Screenshots just play the Mod and you get 100 Screenshots per Second XD

Ah and Banshee: These Configurations are not for balancing "or" improving "or" imitating Retaliation they ALL do that.
The differences between these Config Files is that they are adapted for Multiplayergames with CPU and for Missions and extra for the Antsmissions.
And all of that Configs are also in there as a Version with the difference that everyone has all the units and all buildings of both sides...
So you can choose what you want.
And i have a Read Me in there which explains all of that.
And do note i have Changelog Files for every Config File...

And some further note:
C&C RA1 looks best on a CRT Monitor...
Except for the case Hyper would make a Patch with a Resolution of 1024x768.
Then it would also look good on a TFT Monitor!

And some feedback on my Mod would really be appreciated Smile

I have got RA95 to run in a desktop window, but performace dropped 2fps! Also the high resolution patch is need two things fixed, one would be the dam view port that has some variable in the space void that i can never find. Second is drawing issues, anything outside the orignal resolutions does not get refreshed.

Seems like you have shoved a number of C&C95 stuff in Red Alert. There's also an object at the top corners of Screenshot #2 which I don't recognize.

The Object in the Watercorners is the new Rocket TOW Launcher a Defense Tower on Water. I added one because there is nothing what you can build on Water and can shoot.

And 10 things to Screenshot 3 which imitate Retaliation:

1. The new Temperate Terrain without black pixels
2. The new green House Colour
3. The new wooden Woodcrate instead of a Steelcrate
4. The Airfield without the Flag
5. The Weapons Factory without the gate
6. The damaged Chronosphere
7. The Building Placementfield
8. The Shadow from Retaliation
9. The lowres Playstation Icons
10.The changed progress field when you click on something in the Sidebar

And here are the Features of Perfect RA, so you know what are you downloading, but remember this are not all changes. For all changes look into the several Changelogs in the "Configs" Folder.

I have already done my part and reported many RA1 bugs Razz

And what do you mean with ReadMe?
Did you downloaded the Mod SMIFFGIG and read the ReadMe?
Or do you mean the Features List which i uploaded separately or the Changelogs??

Perfect RA Changelog in v0.94
- Added Temperate to Desert Theater (Good!)

Request the next Version:
- Temperate/Snow to Winter Terrain (Temperate with Tree, Rock, River, Road, etc. has Snow from Winter.mix in C&C95)

I will not make a temperate/snow to Winter Terrain as it is too much work and i dont know exactly how to do it and after all it is not worth it because the winter terrain is nearly the same as the temperate terrain. This is not my goal.

But instead of that my new Version will include a new Desert Terrain with desert trees i converted from C&C1 and you will be able to switch all terrains easy (snow, desert and my own updated temperate Terrain).

Plus all of that my new version will include many balance changes, fixes for Airplanes and on top of that even a new Unit for the soviets!
