It doesn't make sense that the authors have not been named when the results are up. If people can get disqualified after the results are posted, this competition makes no sense.

Congratulations to the winner Reaperrr, Raminator (2nd place), Orac (3rd place), the others don't worry, this competition produced really nice voxels, most of all them are useable (at least on some fun fair vehicles #Tongue

, sometimes with little fix).

I am happy with nice 4th place. Smile

So, any ideas of how I could improve my voxel (make it better than "okay")?

Well depending on how you made your voxel you can make good use of the texturing tool in vxlse III to save a BMP and edit them with any raster graphics editor to add textures/details etc to them. Also you can use the bucket fill or dark/lighten tool in vxlse to make a Light>Dark gradient to give you voxel a metallic look depending on what colors/style you use (see Uranium Tank for example or better: look at all the good voxels and study them). Smile

oh and adding decals like pannels, unit number (like seen on aircraft), etc can give your voxel better looking details.

Final scores are based on a Average score setting: A+B/2=final score
and giving the Devils Tongue zero points would be unfair and show how bad and inexperience you are at juding.

The last two voxels I made were the MCV and Harvester for ROTD, but they're not nearly as detailed (especially when it comes to the texture).
