I need some from those of you who are playing NCM 1.2.

Right now I am experiencing a game lock-up (screen frezzes with repeating sound) whenever Nod AI is involved in a skirmish game. This happens on both custom and default maps, but oddly it seems to effect temperate theater maps only. I have not gotten a lock on a snow map yet with Nod AI, however this makes no sense, as it should effect GDI AI as well.

I can not figure out what is going on, and is the only major error effecting NCM. If anyone has any insights on this, please post what you know, this bug is really starting to annoy me. #Mad

I know my working version of NCM is different now, but I think this effects 1.2 too. I'd like to get a fix for it soon. Feel free to look through the ini. files, the more eyes the better Smile

This was on my custom Map Glowing Forest, I was GDI, and 3 AI. (1 GDI & 2 Nod) Locked up when I went to attack the Nod AI that was attacking me. Seems to also happen when I go in for the kill, but thats probably just TS's way of giving me the middle f

Hmm, WaveClass.

From what pd has told me, WaveClass controls lasers, big lasers, sonic beam and so...

Perhaps check all your lasers and so? If not try turning down your visual details level.

Cool, that helps. It might be related to my AA Obelisk or the Black Hand guns. I wonder if lasers are only allowed to use the "Super" warhead, seems all the TS & FS ones use it or "Super2".

Success!

It looks like any type of weapon that uses IsLaser/IsBigLaser must have its warhead set to "Super". I did that to all my new laser weapons and played a whole skirmish game on the same map as Nod with 2 Nod AI & 1 GDI AI and no IE's or lockups.

That hasn't happen in a long time. Still, it was only one game, but it looks promising.

I did also disable the AI from building spotlight towers, but their weapon was laser based too, so I am 99% sure it was a warhead issue.
