I would like to take the radar-ability from the construction yard and turn it over to the command post. which files contain the information about this?
which files do I have to find and edit?

Once I know which files to edit, I am sure, I'll be able to find out what to change. Just please point me to the files containing these sort of rules...

Edit:
I attached the *.big file, so everyone can have fun with the radar back in its place Wink

In the "CnC3Xml" folder that comes with the SDK, you want to go "GDI\Structures" and the files you're interested in are:
"GDIConstructionYard.xml" and "GDICommandPost.xml"

Which you can edit with notepad or wordpad, just incase you don't know.

Thanks. I took a look at the files. Obviously almost everything about the structure is defined there.
I guess I need to understand the hierarchy better, as I am not able to find the relevant strings to exchange...

I suppose it should be under the "behaviour"-caption?

You want to look for RadarBehavior in the construction yard XML and transfer that code over to the command center XML.

CTRL + F then searching for something relevant works wonders usually.

I got it to work! Very Happy I did what jonwil said and it worked flawlessly Shocked CnC3 editing seems easier than I would have first thought!

May I ask you to maybe post the mod.xml which did the RADAR-trick for you?

I am having trouble understanding...

I copied the structures xml-files (i.e. "NODConstructionYard.xml") to my mod folder. ...\RADARMod\data\*.xml, where also the mod.xml resides. in the mod.xml i need to include the modified structures.xml-files.

do i include the structure-xml-files (i.e. "NODConstructionYard.xml") as <Include type="reference"... or as <Include type="all"

do i need the mod.str?

I used <Include type="all" Smile And you only need a mod.str if you are going to change the name or description of something Wink
