Canyon Wars is my second map I have put online. as the name says, the map is a canyon. here is some info:

2-4 players
enough tiberium for large battles
rather good defendable starting positions
nice lightning

I wanted to put in a moving train too, but that's a bit too hard for me. if you want the version with the train, just pm me.

Note: requires TX found here (first download).

EDIT: Major bump, I know, but I seemed to found a little bug which caused the map to crash for Banshee. Updated description...

Overall very nice , but the blue tiberium cliff looks odd , because there are so many blue tiberium trees.

no, it ain't bad, but maps are being produced by so high rate, that you can't possibly download and play them all...a day has only 24 hours, or should I subtract 7 out of it due to the shcool? #Tongue

I've downloaded the map and tried here. But I've got an error on the 6th loading text (usually related to map problems), so I couldn't play it. Have you really tested the version you uploaded? Because it looks like these screenshots comes from previous versions...

@ Yuri 06: Yeah, sorry, i know that. I didn't need to go to school (yet, i must start from tommorow).
@ Banshee: Weird. I've tried the map before posting it.

I will try it again.

EDIT: I dont know what happened Banshee, because the map worked fine with me. I dont have any modded units/buildings in the map, except some edited light posts. Do you have any mods running? Maybe thats the problem.

No, I don't have any mod installed. I only forgot to delete one last trace from TF:ADW, which was a newmenu.ini file, but that wasn't the problem, really. I also have the OMC3 Map Pack here.

6th loading message is usually related to the map that is being loaded.

Then i don't know the error, Banshee. It must be your game, because no one else has reported the error.

Hmmm, not bad, not bad at all Smile

I see you've concentrated on atmosphere this time. You should make use of height differences, make some more slopes Smile If you only use cliffs for this your map will look a little dull, even a few trenches and hills will make it look a lot more natural Smile

Maybe a bit more ground detailing, some more refined textures but that's not that important.
