Just wondering if someone can answer my two questions because I've looked and don't know if it's possible.

1. Is it possible to make nukes damage air units?

2. Is it possible to make the AI target units instead of factories, like the Physic Dominator

Or are these both the hardcoded parts of the superweapons.

1) Since the nuke is a special case weapon, not likely. Pretty sure it just fires the warhead at the target location and calls damage from a special weapon that ignores projectile. You could check the NukePayload weapon and play with the projectile.

2) Check the AIIonCannon* values. They're what you're looking for. However, they will affect Allies and Soviets both so I don't recommend modifying them to hit units. It wouldn't be that useful anyway...

Nuke is normal weapon for most part, it just detonates NukePayload on impact, in any case, warheads have hard coded spread system that limits aerial intercept range to rather low and there is nothing modder can do about it.

Only NPEXT can support presently such aerial intercept, ARES can't atm.
