I don't know, but it looks like the surface of a blue moon rather than water Razz

This reminds me somewhat of Tropico.

Hmm... If the water was greyer then it'd look better, imo. Boats are nice, though... Makes me wonder what the scale is..

By scale I meant "How big are the units in comparison?"

One cell (80x80 pixels) is almost a meter in final scale. The current one you're watching at is half of it.

Typically one man/alien/soldier occupies one cell and Coelacanth/Displacer/Huge Alien terror units occuppies four cells. Details, details and details will be huge! Minimum resolution might be 800x600 or more.

that's good, a focus on "infantry" instead of them being these tiny pixel globs. :p

I'll see that water so far is reading more like a shiny wrinkled tarp, no offense, the light source being too close? Not sure, maybe some translucency? also the texture on the wood appears too "perfect", some variant. warping, damage and barnacles.

Well maybe, I'm about to start a cool animation that has a running time of 2 minutes!

When taking a closer look on the water (in my project file) it looks like a real water. Maybe I should do some more experiments, but at the moment I'm just fine with it. It's the future, everything's perfect and clean!! Very Happy
