Small Updates vs Large Releases

How should this be done? Small Updates as projects are finished or Larger Releases?

Small updates should get new content out faster with smaller file sizes, but could conflict with other updates and cause the need for patches to fix the updates.

Large Releases would ensure everything works, but would take longer and of course, be larger file size.

The Choice My Friends, Is Yours.
