In a short note: Hotrods, you do need to be rude to tell the truth. If you are, you'll certainly have problems with potential girlfriends.

If a chrono unit has the C4-yes tag (like Tanya), it will chrono into the building, and blow it up instead of chronoing next to it and blowing it up. You'll need the fake C4 weapon from the Chrono Legionaire.

Indeed, are you asking how to do it though, like make it chrono?
If so you just...
Add:
Teleporter=yes
And thats it
But you will have to check on that, Im pretty sure thats all.

And I'm pretty sure you are a moron. For the gajillionth bloody time, Teleporter=yes only lets that object be teleported by the ChronoSphere without dying. It's the Locomotor= that you have to change to get it to chrono.

from Chrono Commando, not Legionnaire.

Is it so difficult to make one stickied topic with ALL THE BASICS to prevent newcomers from asking the same thing for Nth time?
Or you can only say "idiot, find everything yourself"

There already is a stickified topic that covers the basics, it's called "Useful References" and links to eleventy bajillion sites where you can find answers to elementary problems like that. Fuck, this very forum has a topic called "teleporting" just two or three topics below this one. It asks the same question, and has an answer. How difficult would it have been for the OP to check before asking? Or for tr8 to just copy/paste the answer here if he feels so capable of helping? Oh wait, that involves this so called THINKING that he clearly has no grasp of... I call people as I see them. tr8 has been spewing industrial grade bullshit around for shit knows how long, and I have been correcting it for just as long.
I'm not here to babysit ADHD droolmonkeys. Call me a dick if you want, I don't care. I have a low tolerance for stupidity, and that's not going to change. If anything, whiny shit like this is going to reduce it even more.
P.S. Why don't I write up a single post listing ALL THE BASICS, you ask? Because there is no clear line where THE BASICS ends. If you want a damn 3000 page PDF listing everything imaginable, it's been tried, and it doesn't work. That's why ModEnc was created. Instead of whining about me, why don't you go and contribute something people can benefit from? Like that same ALL THE BASICS page, as you see it? Always easier to criticise others' work than to do some yourself, eh?

But he's completely right.
This was even directly mentioned in the other topic (the person stated he tried adding the tag and nothing changed). It's not even like it's a bash on someone who is just asking the question, it's someone else coming along and delivering a bullshit answer without testing it or having prior experience. Keeping one's keyboard idle shouldn't be THAT hard, and thusly, the needed snarky reply.
Maybe a little too snarky, but c'mon.

Perhaps because people should try and experiment themselves. Most people here did with little prompting and it's the best way to learn. It's true that people get stuck at some point but they should really have the initiative to think laterally (what other units can teleport? What code do they have that my unit right now doesn't? What's different?) and implement things.

You know, I have a fear that this place might turn into a Deezire.net with all these random questions. Come on. Chrono Tanya? And, with him just ASKING for help, why should we necessarily give it to him? Because he is asking? If we just TELL him, what's he learning. Teach him, he'll understand it, and he'll have gained something out of the whole process.
DCoder has every right to bash people like this. People like "Gimme help on my chrono XXXXX" sound just like that dead place in modding history called Deezire.

I don't remember Einstein getting a Nobel Peace Prize for using common sense. It's not like I'm asking you to explain the Feynmann Path Integral or Discrete Fourier Transform before you get your answer... :p

We abandoned DZ cause there was no order what so ever. Hence rule #2 in the RenProj ruleset. ( And here's what the DZ staff do when they realise that they have lost us. )
As long as this place has moderators who actually care about their forums, it will not turn into DZ.

I'm aware of the RenProj rules, don't worry. And I've read the PM conversation between Renegade and the moderator dude....quite hilarious, really.

bashing people isn't the solution and you all very well know that. The sig of DCcoder just shows that he likes to bash people. I'm sorry but I think it's very imature.
If you think people really should make a research in old topics or tuts then say so.
If you think they are stupide, then just ignore them. You were never forced to answer a topic.
Calling somebody a moron because he got wrong about game modding is just shamefull in my opinion.

How do you decrease the delay time for chrono?

It's a global setting and you can't change it per-unit. See [General]ChronoDistanceFactor and related stuff.
